I'm using an Oracle 8 database and I'm getting a duplicate copy of my record whenever it is posted. What is the cause? This occurs when using the Oracle 7 client to connect an Oracle 8 database. This is an unsupported configuration. The Oracle 8 SQL Links 5.0 driver was tested using the Oracle 8.0.4 client (OCI).W we recommend using the Oracle 8 SQL Links driver and Oracle 8.0.4 client when connecting to an Oracle 8 server.
