 Preventing system lockup in Win95.

How can I prevent Windows 95 from locking up when my application performs an illegal operation when run from the IDE?

When the dialog box announces the Illegal Operation, do not immediately press the "Done" button. Instead, go back to the IDE and select "Run|Program Reset" from the IDE menu (or press Ctrl-F2 inside the IDE) to release the Debug Hook, and then go back to the dialog box and press the "Done" button.
