| Unrecognized Database Format error when opening Access table |

How come I'm getting a recognized Database Format error when opening an Access table with BDE? The table is probably an Access 2000 table. Another possibility is corrupted table. The BDE uses DAO which has not been updated by MicroSoft since 997. Access 2000 does not use DAO but uses ADO instead. Access 97 and BDE use the same DAO engine. Opening the table in Access 97 should result in the same error. 7/ 3/99 0:26:02 AM
