How do I prevent my application’s main window from showing when my application loads?

    Answer:

There are some cases in which you may not want the application’s main window to show unless a certain criteria is met (i.e. successful user/password authentication, successful connection to database, etc.) or you may not want the window to show at all. To do this, set the Application’s ShowMainForm property to false (Application.ShowMainForm := false) in the main project file before Application.Run, the OnCreate of one of your auto-created forms, or in the initialization section of one of your units.
