October 3rd, 1998 New Interface... As visitors can see Delphi32.com is beginning to take on a changed look. Over the next few days we plan on finishing these changes and begin adding content to each area. Watch us grow! September 29th, 1998 Ask, Answer, Mix and Mingle If you haven't already checked out our Online Special Interest Groups you should do so. Mingle with other developers, ask questions, answer others and learn from your peers. September 17th, 1998 Discussion Forums Testing Cycle Now Open We have finally got the Discussion Forums open for testing. A few things however will be completed tonight. This mainly includes a re-design of the Help Guide and adding general information to the opening page. If you're in the mood to talk about Delphi, got a question you want to ask other Forum participants or just have something you want to share check out the Delphi Discussions Forums (Online Special Interest Groups?) September 16th, 1998 Delphi Discussion Forums Beta Cycle Only a few final touches need to be made to the Delphi32.com Discussion Forums before we post a beta testing cycle for the visitors. During the test cycle we will be looking at how well these forums are used, the type of content the visitors seek and how easy these forums are to manage. Please stay tuned for more information. Testing cycle should begin Thursday morning. September 13th, 1998 Delphi to generate Java Code Learn more about it by clicking here September 13th, 1998 A surprising news came up at the recent Icon'98 (formerly Borconn'98). While attending one of the product sessions Leo Singh learned that Inprise plans to generate Java code with Delphi! Delphi's only drawback was 'Wintel-Micorsoft' dependendence! Delphi is also very successful because no one does Wintel better. I think this is a great news for all of us Delphi hacks who can use the skills we already know and develop real cross-platform solutions. How Inprise actually pulls this off is yet to be seen.
