Description:
TUsersPRO (PROfessional version) is a security component designed for applications with medium-level security needs. With a little configuration at component level in design-time, your application is ready to control the permissions of its users. With TUsersPRO you do not need to write code for implementing the user's control. You just need to connect it to the TMenu component of your main form and the component takes care of everything for you.
Some Features:
- Connected with the menu of your application's main form, the component TUsersPRO will disable or make invisible (accordingly with the profile the users belong to) the menu items the user does not have permissions;
- Designed for Desktop and Network based applications;
- TusersPRO database is stored in a set of Paradox tables protected by a password
- Maximum two lines of programming;
- Implemented in pure Object Pascal;
- No additional extra files are necessary (except the users database);
- Easy localizations of the component idiom;
- All users data can be modified by the security administrator(including users password);
- Auto updates when your menu changes;
- Users password are encrypted;
- Customization of the login screen, through the new event OnLogin.
In the administration module, the administrator can:
- Create users and users profiles;
- Associate users with a profile;
- Grant permissions for users (individualy) and for profiles, visually;
- Update permissions for all users that belongs to a profile;
- Change users data and password;
- Enforces the change of password for all users of a profile at each interval of days especified;
- and many more.
