Description:
TVicPort are general purpose device drivers for use with practically any programming language, which allow you to access and control hardware directly from a Win32application without using the Windows DDK. Included in both packages are DLL units for use with Microsoft Visual C++ and other compilers, as well as native VCL units for specific use with Borland/Inprise Delphi 2/3/4 and C++ Builder 1/3/4. Moreover, the package include an OCX and example for VisualBasic programmers. TVicPort includes transparent support for Windows 95/98 and Windows NT, providing programmers with standard methods for real-time direct access to port I/O - without requiring you towrite a custom virtual device driver for Windows 9x or a kernel-mode driver for NT. The latest 3.00 release gives you access to IDE HDD hardware manufacturer information (serial number, geometry, etc.).
