StarDotZip is a powerful and versatile archive management tool. Despite its name, it can handle more than just Zip files. It can open and extract 14 different types of
archive types without the need for external programs. It can also create 9 of those archive types also without the need for external programs. You can also view or edit
files in their associated applications by either double clicking on them in the archive viewing window, or through a popup menu that will also allow you to choose alternative applications to view/edit with. You also have the option of having the edited file automatically updated inside the archive. And unlike other archiving programs, if the file inside the archive included a path, that path will be retained. Archives can be created or extracted right from Windows Explorer. Simply select a file or files in Windows Explorer and you can create an archive. If the file or files you have selected are recognized archive files, you can extract them to any folder.
