A native Delphi component that allows you to create and manipulate data files in SPSS format. (SPSS is a statistical package which uses its own format for data files) With this component, you can manipulate existing or create new SPSS formatted data files (i.e. files with '.sav' extensions) in just about any way you want to. Note also that you don't need to have SPSS installed on your computer to do this! All you need is this component and one DLL file (spssio32.dll, which is included with the component). Demos included.
Some of the demos require my TFolderDialog Delphi component, which is freeware with source. Go to http://www.delphi32.com/vcl/4618/ to download it.
Value labels are now fully supported in the Delphi 6 version. All Delphi versions are included in the download file, so you only need to download one file regardless of your version of Delphi. (Just choose the appropriate subdirectory after you unzip the file.)
I will no longer be maintaining the Delphi 4 or 5 versions, so they will not have the value label functionality
