Description:
The Web On Windows (WOW) control is an ActiveX control that wraps the Microsoft Internet Explorer ActiveX control (IEX). WOW enhances IEX in several important ways that are essential for effective webbrowser control programming.
The HotList is a new kind of listbox control that allows you to use HTML for a better looking, more functional presentation in your UI. The HotList displays HTML instead of plain text. Why use boring text-only listboxes when you can have HTML listboxes instead? The HotList is a new invention in user-interface technology that will add style to your UI!
The HotLink ActiveX control allows you to have WebBrowser-like hyperlinks in your Windows programs. You can set an Internet URL or Email address which will open a WebBrowser window or Email message when you click on the link, just as with a browser hyperlink. Alternatively, you can have links that don't open a browser or email message, but just fire an event back in your code (either way, an event is always fired in your code).
The HotButton control is designed for developers who want an alternative to the standard Windows button you get with Visual Basic, .NET, and C++, or who need a feature-packed button control to use on Internet Explorer webpages. The HotButton offers everything that the standard button offers plus a whole lot more - including Menus. The HotButton does Menus.
The BrowserList control is a new kind of listbox that displays HTML instead of plain text. The BrowserList is a new invention that will add style to your UI. The BrowserList is different from traditional listboxes in that it only displays one ListItem at a time (for a "traditional" HTML ListBox control, please see our HotList page).
