Description:
TScheduleIT is a small Delphi Component that lets you add powerful scheduling capabilities to any program with little effort. The component, once activated runs on it’s own thread and will raise an event if a scheduled task is due to run.
Presently, the component let you add an unlimited number of tasks and each can be set to run or raise an event in it’s own time interval.
Current Supported Time Intervals:
· AddDailyTask – This method will add a task for daily occurrences at specific times.
· AddWeeklyTask – Add a task that will run every week on specific day and time.
· AddMonthlyTask – Add a task that will run on specific days of each month at specific times.
· AddYearlyTask – Add a task that will run on a specific month, day and time.
Some parameters types you will need:
type TWeekDay = (wdSun,wdMon,wdTue,wdWed,wdThu,wdFri,wdSat);
type TMonth = (mJan,mFeb,mMar,mApr,mMay,mJun,mJul,mAug,mSep,mOct,mNov,mDec);
The ID parameter in each of the methods are used to identify your task. It could be any numeric number that will help you identify the task.
NOTE: The component is accurate to the minute, but not seconds. Thus, don't be alarmed when you set the task event for 10'o clock exacactly and it only runs a few seconds thereafter. It will run within the minute though.
