TNativeTable is a data-aware table component. It is designed for use in applications where only single user access and basic searching are required, such as address books, catalogs, logging, knowledge bases and general information storage/retrieval. Features: No BDE required, single file storage for data, blobs and indices, can be statically linked (i.e. no DLLs or packages to deploy), fault tolerant - can recovery cleanly from system crash or loss of power, available for both Delphi and C++ Builder, full source code included royalty free, small footprint, TDataSet descendant (supports data-aware controls), 100% Object Pascal source code, supports filtering, looking-up and locating records, supports master-detail relationships, compact storage of string fields, support for primary and secondary indices, component interface similar to TTable, full range of field types supported including blobs, binary and auto-inc field types, support for the RecNo property - supports positioning on any record, support for bookmarks - indexed tables support stable bookmarks, free NativeBase application - serves as a demo and lightweight database application, 2GB file capacity - will hold as many records as will fit into a file of this size, LRU/read-ahead buffering for efficient data retrieval.
