PaxScript is interpreter of 3 object-oriented scripting languages: paxBasic, paxC and paxPascal which allows the cross-language integration.
TPAXScripter component allows you to embed PaxScript interpreter into your Delphi application, so you can extend and customize the application without having to recompile it.
Using TPAXScripter you can
. Import Delphi routines, constants, and variables.
. Import Delphi classes. TPAXScripter comes with imp units which provide importing Delphi classes defined in units SysUtils, Classes, Controls, StdCtrls, ComCtrls, Buttons, Forms, Graphics, ExtCtrls, Dialogs, Menus, ImgList. You can create new imp units as well.
. Create script-defined event handlers.
. Call script-defined functions.
. Customize compilation process and error handling.
. Use scripter in the debugger mode (breakpoints, step into, trace over, run to cursor).
