Description:
CVSFilter is an application for filtering the comments of stored files in CVS. It is a command line tool, which can be controlled by batch files or makefiles. All parameters (e.g. Author, Input) needed to filter the comments from CVS can be defined either as command line parameters, an Ini file or in the registry.
Advantages of CVSFilter are, that the comments can be extracted for exactly one or all user/s that has/have stored the files into CVS. Further it is possible to extract the comments for defined period of time.
The output format of CVSFilter shows the comments in structured way.
For example:
CVSFilter.exe /person=MAB /author=JES /input=C:\Projects\cvslog.txt /output=C:\Projects\cvslog_out.txt /date=.gt18.09.2003
