Description:
ElecKey is the complete solution for secure electronic software distribution. It includes the software protection capability that allows you to protect your software applications against piracy, illegal use, or being copied. So you can securely distribute your software applications to anywhere via any distribution channels such as the Internet, on-line services, floppy disks, CD-ROM and etc. In addition, the ElecKey's registration and License Key system allows you have total control over the distributed applications. You can create different types of software distribution and marketing options. For instance, setting an expired date for an evaluation software version and later turning it into the full version when the payment is made. Key Features: * Several Operating System Support. ElecKey can operate and lock application programs (.COM, .EXE, .DLL, .OCX) based on DOS, Windows 3.x/95/98/SE/ME/NT/2000/XP. * Absolutely No Programming Necessary. ElecKey allows you turn your application program to be protected within a few minutes, just point and click. There is no need to modify any single line of source code. * License Key Management System. You have total control over the distributed applications. You can define characteristics of the protected application on the License Key that is sent to the end-user. * Harddisk Key Software-based Locking System. The Key embedded in a harddisk functions to unlock the protected application. Only the end-user who is granted a license Key can activate the Key and run the application. The harddisk Key is designed with a sophisticated technique that can protect itself from copying and duplication by Windows/DOS copy commands or any other pirate utilities. * Transferable Harddisk Key. Harddisk Key can be transferred from one to another harddisk. This allows end-user flexibility to move and run the protected application on any PCs. The integrity is always secured that only an authorized end-user can run the application. * Enhanced Computer-based Protection. You can increase security measures by enabling the Key to apply BIOS and Ethernet LAN card signatures. This allows the protected application to operate only on a particular PC. * Execution and date count limits. You can define characteristics of the protected application in different levels using user ID, program ID, and module ID. Limits include number of executions, date count, and an expired date. This allows you to create different types of software distribution and marketing options. * Anti-Trace Prevention. ElecKey implements an algorithm that prevents single step program tracing, as well as encrypts parts of the program to prevent disassembly and debugging. If there is any attempt to modify or crack the protected program, this will cause the program ceasing to operate.
